Cosy Table Lamp

Cosy lamp is signed by Harri Koskinen Muuto, a table lamp character recognizably Nordic: formal purity, simplicity and rigor of the lines, but of a simple silhouette, but that goes with ease both classic and contemporary furnishings, finding a easy to place in both the living area into the bedroom. Cosy is made of glass, available in two versions, large and small, in white opal or transparent gray, a little ‘higher harmonic and the previous ones.

Muuto, famous for the simple lamp E27, about the concept of Cosy contains the words of its designer: “The basic idea was to create a series of lamps thinking of space and atmosphere. I am a great believer in the glass as a material, with its beauty and its changing reflections. This series consists of two lamps, one in gray and white, and both in their own way, enhance the beauty of the electric light. Late in the evening you can enjoy the most intimate atmosphere created by these lamps. ”

Harri Koskinen has established his own design studio, Friends of Industry Ltd., in Helsinki in 1998. It ‘s a designer whose value is to focus primarily on the design and aesthetic appearance of the product without exaggeration, although his study also covers the design concept and design of exhibition spaces that have more to do with fashion than with design. The list of clients includes companies such as Alessi (think eco design of Fat), Artek, Design House Stockholm, Iittala, Magis, Montina, Muji, Panasonic, Swarovski and Venini.
