Suspension design LIQUID by Frans SCHROFER

Kudos for the liquid suspension – signed by Frans Schrofer for XAL – which boasts beautiful organic forms, whose design is inspired by the action of the tides. Dutch designer Frans Schrofer presents his latest fixture, a superb suspension titled LIQUID, he signed for the publisher Austrian XAL. He told us he was inspired by the play of the tides to create organic forms that evoke the liquid immediately.

The liquid suspension features a polished aluminum body, through a complex manufacturing process at high pressure. It is suspended from two steel cables gossamer, and contains high performance LEDs that are housed under acrylic cover and integrated almost seamlessly into the metal body.

Frans Schrofer made his first appearance on Deco-Design, a talented designer who comes straight from the Netherlands – a country where simplicity, functionality, modest elegance, fun, candor, modernity, social awareness and resourcefulness are traits of culture.
